Samantha. Everyday woman.

When I found out Samantha had more animals than me, I knew we would be friends.
We met on Craigslist, a search for finding like minded people with dreams, hopes and goals in life. She wakes up before the sun to feed her horses and pony. During the nights she loads the stove full of wood to keep ‘her old house’ as she calls it, toasty. She takes care her children (human kind too) during the day implementing a routine of chores, homework and snack time. Making time for adult time happens when her husband returns from home, after long days in the city. After his daily, two hour commute. Samantha is driven. Strong. Having just graduated from her studies as a veterinarian technician, in between having a baby and working on her farm, she like many mothers, just needs ten minutes to recoup sometimes. A precious ten minutes that gets lost in the day to day happenings of life.
There is hardly time for any sort of painted nails, make up or curls. I told her, there is time if you make it. I absolutely love how in this series of images she went beyond limits (that I truly believe she doesn’t even know) she carries. Yet. Shining, relaxed and beautiful, I hope she realizes she holds this with her in all the minutes of everyday.

Samantha is my sweet, loving, caring niece, she is not fancy ,frilly or even very girly.. BUT She is so beautiful inside and out. Its hard to believe she doesn’t even realize how amazing she is and can be!!
